so gentle

so soft

like a whisper

in the silence

in the stillness

in the the starlit night

it was a poem of

eternal flame

a poem of hidden secrets

written in the essence of light

beaming the light of love

and in it

I could hear a voice

so tender

whispering my name

it knew the secrets

it was a message of joy

the sky lit up

and the stars twinkled

like fireworks in the sky

my soul felt warm

I saw angels

angels with white wings

angels who painted you

in the light

they wrote me your name

I could feel the breath

of ancient times

the love that we are

when we are together

it was love of such great power

it could melt

the hardest heart of iron

the message was of such beauty

that angels cried the tears of diamonds

in the depths of my soul

I saw the light

the light of our eternal love
