Yesterday the air was grey

The sun struggled on all through the day

to make his way and chase the grey away

But then

Not far from the sunset he shined brightly, upon a clear blue sky

Sunbeams warmed through universe, reaching earth, ray by ray

Yestereve

Oh it was really marvellous to see

As sun went down into the sea

He went more and more shiny in front of me

Yestereve

Was the lightest time of yesterday

When suddenly the sun won his way

Through all the shades of heavy dull grey

Yesterday

Turning Yestereve

And the sun so intenselly red finally

Oh yes it was very beautiful to see

Yestereve

Will remain in my memory

When through all the rainy day grey

Suddenly the Sun won his way

Yes, Yestereve, Yesterday became so full of light

And as the eve went forward towards starry night

There was the moon too shining, oh, so bright

Oh I will remember Yestereve !
