it seems all my efforts

doesn´t get me anywhere

i keep sinking deep

in misery

and in bottomless despair

modern lovers

in a modern age

what makes them

so confident?

is it all about

how they were raised?

is it time that was

well spent?

may i slip into

unconsciousness

and return another day?

i forget that i´ve been

truly blessed

i give in to my decay
