what´s wrong with my admiration?

the problem is it comes from me

it lacks the validation

that you need from society

there´s something wrong with my passion

it´s mine and it is not allowed

unlike the latest fashion

it´s never been approved by the crowd

seems like desire´s forbidden

at least if it derives from me

but i don´t want to keep it hidden

it´s part of what i used to be

i guess romance is off limits

it can be seen on the silver screen

she has a heart but i can´t win it

she´s far too pure

she´s much too clean
