I spend my days saying "No"
"No" to everything I need and want
I know I should change my agenda
But I keep saying "No" anyway

I guess that it is all those years
spent in guessing other peoples will
that has silenced my inner voice
silenced it 'til impossible to hear

I try and I try and I try to change
my behaviour and slowly succeed
Saying "Yes" to the people and things I need
Still saing "No" to the things I don't

I cannot ask You to help me
This I've got to do by myself
But please give me doors and windows
To say" Yes" to the future I want
