Police siren cut holes in the silence of the night

I saw people being dragged on the ground and pushed into pickup cars by those who address themselves as men of justice

Those in uniforms

Those who sold their souls for a handful of money

And they used heavy machineguns

But they forget that hearts of the protesters are also heavy, their spirits are harder than any armor and bullets cannot kill what they are fighting for

And they polluted the clear night sky with teargas and smokes from their guns and painted the streets with the blood of those who resisted, those who believed, those who walked on the streets and shouted out loud: liberty, liberty

And some were arrested because of their unusual sex opinion, because they were blown and gave blowjobs to the wrong sex, because they questioned the authority, because of the color of their skin, religious beliefs, ideas, because they read and wrote about the wrong words, because they believed in those words, because, because, etcetera, etcetera.

And they were put in prison, where they learned to paint beautiful angels flying out of the prison window with their own fingernails and write poetries about the world outside, about freedom, revolution.

And the man, may he rest in peace, was right when he said: “the revolution will not be televised”

Because the idea of freedom comes from the words that are carved out on prison walls and those words will not be televised, they will not be brought to you by facebook, twitter or youtube,

They will not be manipulated by newspapers or any other media for that matter

It is actually the medias themselves that will be changed by these words, by the idea of freedom.

All the conversations, debates, political statements, speeches will be about revolution

And it will be live on the streets
And not alone but together

And the machineguns cannot kill this believe, and their prison cannot keep it looked in, and their media cannot change it to their own advantage

And the revolution will continue and it will be live…
