Sometimes, I'm ashamed to be straight
But who can blame me, really?
"Straight", just listen to the word
Play with it on your tongue
It is used to describe someone heterosexual
"Straight"...
It sounds as if you're "perfect" if you're "straight"
As if you have a perfect life, job and family
Even though we "straight" people
Have always had the support by society,
All we can do is complain
Let our hate rain over those different from us;
The homosexuals
Just because the majority of the population are "straight",
They think they know what's right
They think they have the right
To tell others how to live and who to love
Some of us, the "straight" people,
Approach homosexuality as a crime
As something unnatural that you should hide
And be ashamed of
Why all this hate? Why?
There is nothing wrong with loving someone of the same sex
Why would there be something wrong about it?
Love is not reserved for "straight" people only
Thinking that way is just plain idiotic
To all the "haters" out there (I know some of you still exist):
How would you feel if the roles suddenly got reversed?
How would you like it if people hated you because you loved someone
Just because it doesn't fit into the "norm"?
I don't think you would like it at all
Yet, you continue to hate the difference between people
It's the difference that makes the world interesting, enlightening
Without any difference between people,
Life would be dull and boring
You old-fashinoed "straight" people
Bring shame to other straight people who don't share your hate
You bring us difference-embracing people into bad light
You, homo-haters, make me sick
