in the end we all go back to our respective starting points
our marks, our positions, our moment of complete rest

we'll journey among the stars and fall down gracefully
instantaneously, with no thought involved, nothing to give reason to
or a source for... what has been, what will be
we'll become, as it were, at peace
but never peaceful

it's just a guess, and it'll always will be nothing but a simplistic little guess

a notion... for the journey to be the reason in itself
where we'll be, in the end... and where we were in the beginning
it has to not be a factor

our beginning and our end is set in stone, I believe
death will come... as will life...
everything else fluctuates wildly

but it doesn't mean anything... nothing at all

it's all just guesswork
much like everything else
just like life itself

at least as far as I can see
