"... if we know how to know ourselves as being apart from the pairs of opposites, then we have attained to salvation." (C.G. Jung - Seven Sermons to the Dead)

Crucify My Mind

You're the light and the darkness
The moon and the sun
The life in the springtime
And the death from a gun

You're the particle, the wave
The difference and the same
The one and the many
And the ashes and the flame

You're the good and the evil
The beauty and the beast
The time and the space
From the west unto the east

You're the laughter and the tears
The joy and the pain
The rhythm of my heart
And the beat in my brain

You're the day that will come
Like a thief from behind
When you break into my garden
To crucify my mind

"the progressive development and differentiation of consciousness leads to an ever more menacing awareness of the conflict and involves nothing less than the crucifixion of the ego, the agonizing suspension between the irreconcilable opposites." (Jung CW 9ii §79)

Rainer Maria Rilke skrev: "Be-and at the same time know the implication of non-being, the endless ground of your inner vibration, so you can fulfill it fully just this once." Jag gillar den skrivningen, Jungs skrivning och din!
