Bird letter

In her letter she writes;
\"Here, the black on the white;
I love you, I say\"
She has to send it away.
She sends it away with a wing
it\'s only for him, the little thing.
The wing on the bird, gray as the cloud
flyes high above talking people, oh, so loud.
Over the mountains, over the sea
A stop for the night, to sleep in a tree.
Then in the dawn, as earth is waking
a bite in an apple it is taking.
\'Cause love, how strong it even seams,
needs food, and not in form of dreams.
