As I am stepping down
the carpet covered stairs
as I am walking across
the cobble-stoned squares

looking back at a corporate establishment
casting a mirrored glance upon super but ficial refinement

I've got other business in mind
than walking arrends my dressing shoes are communicating
I steer on towards dixie land
not far away this random street band's playin'

What soul can be filed
between sheets of a spreadsheet bed
wouldn't it rather be that our hearts
by rhythmic genuine soundwaves be led

Unmystified but misti-eyed
while the good father's sorrow's are trumpeting in the background
passer's by are reflecting the inner thoughts in mind
my action is hesitant, but my heart's isn't - it's profound
