We are all looking up at the same starry sky.
We are all watching the same sun go up while wondering “why”?
We are all living on this planet called “Earth”
So why should I treat you differently, because you are a little different from me?
We are all flesh and blood, and the same deep within.
We are all just alike, right under our skin.

Oppression and racism are still here today,
we need to start over, we have to try again.
History can`t keep on repeating itself.
We need to put our weapons away on the shelf.

You are born with the same human rights as everyone else,
Equality, and they will be free.
Equality, and we will be free.

We should open our hearts to love and to peace.
 
Of different race, from different place,
We do not have to prove, that these stereotypes have to be removed.
Liberty and justice for all,
United as one, we stand tall.

Though we live in a so-called democracy, 
of racism, will we ever be free? 
We judge them by where they come from and by the color of their skin, 
For many equality and respect seems impossible to win. 

But I do have hope for humanity,
“I have a dream…” as Martin Luther King said in his famous speech,
for a better future, new generations we will have to teach,
But also practice what we preach!
We are all human beings, and we need to take a stand.
It is time for us to walk hand in hand.
