Just the way someone caught you attention walking by,
you catch everyone else’s.
The energy you exude is genuine
and you don’t know who’s staying up late at night
trying to figure out how it would feel like
to get to know you,
to become your friend.

Just like how you try to undress the norms
forcing someone to act in a certain way.
Just like how you try to understand someone
in a way only a few people does.
Just like how you try,
someone else might be as well
about you.
And once in a blue moon
that someone and you
think about one another
wondering what it would be like.
But, oh my friend
you would never know.
