A tribute to the Muse of Poetry. I have previously published this text the 30th of May, 2009, and the 2nd of June, 2017. In each post I have made a few changes. There is also a soundfile where I read the poem. My own drawing.

My Beloved

My Beloved, is it your ways that with such grace
ignites my veins with a warm and lively breath?
If so, my Beloved, with bridle and rein I charge
my pace and temper my pounding hart. And will
you then, among the sparks around your shoes,
within the glimpses of your dress, celebrate with
me this unity of dew and time?

And then, Beloved, ourselves against each other
turned, light in eyes and minds so bold, let´s be
puzzled, lost and found, crisscrossed like two
perplexed friends, with words just an eternity ago,
jailed or blown around. And then, my love, let´s
load them down to an open account, our eyes a
free and inviting code.

And then my love, we meet in a sudden kiss,
and before we even figure how to formuate
our lips, let´s bid goodbye, for just a little while,
until we two happen to pass the other one by,
to share, precious and tender gifts.

Tycker om det mjuka, kärleksfulla i dikten...mycket fint...
