I have stumble 

on the threshold 

again

balancing my life

on the small thread

called hope

‘cause I really hoped

I really hoped

you’d be the one for me

but again

it was nothing more

than an illusion

a treacherous chimera 

luring me in 

and astray

killing me slowly

watching me drown

in my very own embarrassment
