A sad story. part two.

A sad story.
Part two.

"Dead? No, she just can.t be dead." I said.
The nurse was just there silent. I thought she was about to faint. She looked very sad and comfused. My mums face looked still taut. I did not know what to say or do. After a while I went into my mothers room.
She was lying in her bed. Oh my God! She was really pale. But I could not believe she was dead. suddenly she opened her eyse. but she seemed very tired. Hello my dear! she said.
then I woke up. y god, I thought it was in the reality. But it had just been a dream. I was so astonished. It had felt so real.

I remembered last Christmas. It was a lot of snow everywhere that day. the trees where so beautiful with all that snow on them. In the town there where lights everywhere and everyone seemed so happy. At that time my mum lived in her old house. The roads where very snowy and slippery.
what do you wish for Christmas this year?" I asked her the morning before Christmas Eve.
"I just want to have a good Christmas." she answered.
"Ok, we can go for a walk at first," I suggested.
she did not answer at first. She just sat in her livingroom, peeling an orange.
I thought that she could be satisfied with very little.
That evening we went for a walk and then had dinner at a friend.s house. We also went to church and a choir with children sang so lovely.
I did not know then that this would be my mothers last happy Christmas. I feel good when I think about it, because I know that she did have so much fun. She has lived a long and good life.

The first Christmas I can remember was about thirty years ago. I was around four years old then. The day before Christmas we were in town to look for presents.
"I want a big dolls house!" I yelled happily. Me and my siblings were in a big shop.
I felt so much joy! Everything felt just perfect. My older sister Sandra said:
"Which one do you want then Amanda?" my sister asked. She looked happy as well. I just run around in the shop and laughed.
"I want everyone! I want a doll also." I said. I remember that everybody in the store laughed at me. when we came out there where a lot of snow and rather cold. It felt like a very long day. In the evening we walked home and had a lovely Christmas dinner. There were candy everywhere in the house. My older sister had hidden treats in many places. It was a great Christmas. I was about five years old, when life was so easy.

I was in my moms room again. She was lying in her bed, smiling a little. She seemed so satisfied. And I saw at once that she was dead, but I could not believe in it! Last night I dreamed that she was gone, then when I visit her the next morning, believe me or not, but then she is dead. It is so terrible.
I hope that you are in a much better world, I thought sadly. My life will never be the same again. But, I don't have to worry for her anymore.
