poem

It could have been beautiful

The roses you game me,
mean so much to me.
I thought you had come here to stay,
all my life, every day.
The sweet smell of the roses,
stay with me everyday
I really, really beg you to stay.
And the bitter scent of your sweet jasmine flowers,
still lingers in the air.
I want to know what we did wrong,
with a love that felt so strong.
When I think about how my life could have been,
it makes me wana cry.

The sweet words you whispered,
they did not mean a damn thing.
I was very stunned and happy,
because you could give me so much joy.

You said I was so beautiful,
and that I had such a gordious mind.
It made me so glad, and you were always on my mind.
I could hardly believe in you,
because you were so very sweet and kind.

You said I was the only one.
But I know that you just played with me for fun.
So you can tell your pretty words,
to the dust of your fancy car.

So now that you left me,
stars will still be,
bright as diamonds in the sky.
even if you say goodbye.
but things will never be the same again.
It is good that tears don't show in the rain.

We are not together anymore.
and I will always wonder why.
You are not here anymore.
It makes me cry.

Before you left me I thought,
if you ever walk out of this door,
what would I have left to live for.
It could have been so damn good,

I really want you here,
so I feel no more loneliness and fear.
You could have been my very best friend
But I know this is the end.

Instead you are treating me so bad,
and I feel so lonely and sad.
So now I know that you don't care.
Now that the flowers are about to die,
I really want to lay me down and cry.

I want to be by your side,
and to make you happy, and make you smile.
Even thought it doesn't feels right.
It is what I wish I could do,
every cold and lonely night.
