I am only truly awake when asleep,
When my mind drifts away with the melody.


For a moment blending our colours,
To become a beautiful art piece,
Together we paint everything,
The perfect dream.


We are Pulled into the dance in shades again
Enjoying the thrills,
No matter the deceiving
Of what was to be believed at the time a heart completed


But footsteps against the floor,
From a dancing shadow haunting us.
Breaks the spell,
And Reminds me.


I am only sitting in my empty home alone, 
Watching a teardrop that is falling but frozen in place,
Reflecting back the pains i picked up 
Like a mirror showing just the things in my life that is still incomplete,
the things that i hide.
Longing to be more than just a wish.


A rose, 
That Is slowly turning black like ebony,
Bleeding for the love we have

And care for it.

I feel breathing filling my lunges with life again

However briefly.


And a warm embrace of a soul against my skin
That was Almost enough for me to forget the cold

Comes the dread,

That every second spent was a nightmare.


I know it is the same for you,
But those things,
They were not true and was not meant to be.
We keep on searching for a trace of love,
A ray of light, 
Even just a glimpse of each other's eyes
But how do i know which ones are yours.


You are alone in your own empty home now,
Losing the mind to the same melody as me

Our Crying for only the moon to hear
Weaving in our song in the wind
A song about how much we miss it all,
How much i miss you,
Like a bottled message drifting on the sea,
You hope that it will reach me
And i will wait forever if need be.
