Life made you one,
among the many
that you also are.
Find your point
of light, and follow it
as best you can.
It will turn
into a sea of darkness.
Learn how to swim.
Always keep moving,
even if movement
means going backwards.
Grinding to a halt,
do remember that spirit
is not always found
in the crispness of heaven
or in some future
glory hell,
but in the loathsome,
tiresome mundaneness
of yesterday's you.
In this place of dust,
do not despair.
If not by standing shaken,
how could newer roads
ever be taken?
