Flipping through the Sobotta Atlas
of Human Anatomy,
I am forced to see the utter impersonality
of this body:

Just a splendid machine
in an orderly jumble

I wonder how surgeons perceive this

I am absolutely no one

I am not nothing,
because the body is a thing,
buy I am no one, of course

Look into your body;
grope around amongst the organs...
and tell me you are SOMEONE!!!

Yet this illusion floats about this wonder
of evolution,
or what the hell it is
