I have been putting happiness on hold, assuming that there are pursuits I need to complete before I earn the presence of bliss. I have been future faking happiness thinking it is a thing of tomorrow. "If only I study hard today tomorrow I get my degree, and happiness shall come my way"

I have been putting love on hold believing that I need to work on myself first, I have come to learn that it is easy to feel stable and secure when you isolate yourself, there is no one there to trigger your flaws, but there is no one there to mirror your greatness. Working on oneself does not have a finishing timeline. I have been future-faking love thinking it is a thing of tomorrow. " I am not focusing on love right now but tomorrow I will find the courage to open up somehow"

I am slowly learning not to put happiness or love on hold for tomorrow, I am learning to embrace and welcome them with open arms whenever they appear in my today.
