Like a night owl
her big eyes wide
open, awake thinking
of her virtues, flaws,
who will she become
on the morrow?

thought as exciting
as the birth of a new day
yet so dim, uncertain as it
slowly turns into night

She has learned a great
deal on her journey back
to life, It amazes her how it
moves like the earth itself,
so slowly.. never do we notice
the motions of its rotation

Yes, she often lies wide awake
thinking on the morrow, terrified
of life only learning how to survive

So

she closes her big brown eyes,
and makes a promise, to master
the art of living falls asleep patiently
waiting on the morrow.
