The Wisdom of Trees

"water that does not flow forms a swamp, the mind that does not think forms a fool". Victor Hugo.

In the forest of life, people are like trees, Their stories etched in rings, whispered by leaves. Roots delve deep, seeking truth and connection, Branches stretch high, embracing introspection.

Each page turned, a leaf unfurled, Books hold secrets, wisdom of the world. From ancient scrolls to modern prose, In ink and parchment, life’s journey flows.

But beware stagnant waters, the swamp’s embrace, Where thoughts stagnate, and minds lose grace. For water that does not flow becomes murky, And minds that don’t think grow dim and murky.

Victor Hugo, the poet, knew this well, His sonnets danced with truth, like a magic spell. So let us ponder, learn, and seek the light, For in the forest of knowledge, our souls take flight. ?????

Note: The above poem is an original creation inspired by the Victor Hugo how was indeed a master of sonnets and profound insights.
