My suffering is hidden in stone
In a soul that carries its pain.
No one understands, no one shows,
The pain that listens to my silence.

In the stillness of the night the tears flow,
Longing burns in the heart of the stone.
Nobody knows, nobody wants to extinguish,
The fire in the soul spreads slowly.

But deep inside me, hope still lives,
Despite the pain, love blossoms.
For the stone will break, on a clear day,
And my soul will fly, free, to the light.

My suffering, hidden in heavy stone,
She will be released, one day, sometime.

# In Iceland at Christmas, books are given as gifts, then people spend the night in bed reading and eating chocolate, this custom is part of a tradition called Jolabokflod (meaning the Christmas flood of books) Because Iceland is the place with the most. books are published than in any country, most books are sold in September and November because of people preparing for the holidays.

In Iceland, at Christmas, books are given,
People in bed, with chocolate, reading.
Jolabokaflod, unforgettable tradition,
On the holy night, the books are shared.

From September to November, books are sold,
People are getting ready, the holidays are coming soon.
In the heart of winter, stories unfold,
In the pages of books, dreams intertwine.

With each book a new world is born,
In the warm bed of chocolate, the soul is nourished.
Jolabokaflod, a flood of stories,
In Iceland, at Christmas, the magic lives on.

A night of reading, under the bright stars,
In Iceland, at Christmas, books
