arrived on the scene

Bright-eyed and bushy tailed

fronted some bands

and lost his tender heart

on the burning sands

reveals what it's all about

Sometimes it was blood and terror

as the punks were running out

Sometimes it was joy and laughter

Sometimes it was brilliant jokes

He's sitting here many years after

He's no longer one of the blokes

disappeared and came back

much older and not so wild

No longer up for the total attack

No longer a vicious child

He was always too late

But he always did his best
