“Privilège du blanc”

Secrets of Destiny.

My Spiritual Father is Dead. Privileges and Shadows – Inspired by Clothing Symbolism and Social Discrepancies

At meetings with the Pope, the dress code is strict and loaded with symbols.
Women who arrive before the Supreme Pontiff usually wear black - a color of respect and sobriety.
However, there is a rare exception, reserved for a very narrow circle.
Only a few 7 women in the world have the right to appear in white before the Pope, a privilege that says a lot about their place and role in a world governed by tradition and religion,
Is it because of religious intentions that women in black, among Arabs and Catholics?

Starting today we have 7 days of mourning, still in black, I was puzzled by the text I wrote yesterday, I wrote it from the heart...

In black clothes, sobriety is the law,
In white, just a few steps to the throne,
Old symbols that are understood in the world,
But the soul remains without tone.

A dance on the edge of a corpse,
A thought that in mourning seems to have been crushed,
And time, like a bow, turns gravely,
To meetings that death has ceased.

A humiliation in the face of old age,
A voice that wanted to say, but faded,
And as in a morning dream,

A minister in secret broke away.
That's life, a thread that falls apart,
But in words, everything is pretended/

Who are those 7 women who can appear in white before the Pope?

According to Vatican protocol, only seven women in the world have the privilege of wearing white in front of the Pope.
This “Privilège du blanc” is reserved for Catholic sovereigns and the wives of Catholic monarchs from certain European royal houses.

These women are:

Queen Letizia of Spain

Queen Matilda of Belgium

Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg

Princess Charlene of Monaco

Queen Sofia of Spain (emeritus)

Queen Paola of Belgium (emeritus)

Princess Marina of Naples (of the House of Savoy)

This privilege is not mandatory – for example, Charlene of Monaco and Maria Teresa of Luxembourg have chosen to wear black to some meetings with the Pope, although they were allowed to wear white.
Privilège du blanc

In black folds the step descends, Shaded by the law written in ancient commandments, But over the throne, in the dawn that does not disappear, White is spread—a right borne by infants.

Few are the queens who comfort In pure garments, the face of the holy, Their privilege is not for the light, But a sign that the world is in the net of words.

For rank gives, but also confines, A white guarded in the shadow of a pact, Tradition does not ask, only announces—

And in white, power is an exact destiny. But who will put on the right garment, Not the throne carries—but the past, the deed.
