I don't miss who you seemed to be,I miss who I thought you were. Sonnet of the Unshaken Woman
Glödvandring, or firewalking, is more than just a daring stroll across burning embers — it's a ritual of transformation, practiced across cultures for thousands of years. From ancient India to modern Sweden, it symbolizes courage, renewal, and the power of focused intention.
When life reduced her limbs to ash and dust, She did not beg for mercy nor retreat. From silence, forged a self she dared to trust, And walked through fire on self-redeeming feet. She learned that love must never come in halves, That absence tastes like scorn when dressed as care. She does not dwell in homes built out of drafts, But follows truth, however thin the air. She isn't cold, nor carved in granite stone — She's simply stitched her soul back into grace. A woman who can stand again alone Wears unbowed light across her healed face. She fears no end, no desert left untried — For she has wept in storms… and still survived.
