America's Forgotten Daughter a ballad of exile, impossible love, and lost identities.
America's Forgotten Daughter a ballad of exile.text:eng-swe. The U.S. Constitution, written by European settlers who called themselves the "Founding Fathers," stipulated that the president must be a "natural born citizen"... but Native Americans, who lived on land easily accessible to the settlers, were not recognized as American citizens until 1924, through the Indian Citizenship Act. So for nearly 150 years, the continent's "most native creatures" had neither the right to vote nor access to political power. And even after 1924, many were excluded from elections because of state laws or systematic discrimination. ??? If we were to ask this question in a poem, it might sound something like this: Who is born of the earth and yet a stranger? Who spoke to heaven before the language of law? You, son of a slave and daughter of dreams, "I, who was here for a name" I did not come, I was. I grew up discovering that the grass was unfurling This land - And even you say: "You were not born into the right idea!" "You do not have the passport of the dream. America!" But I do not ask permission to love. Nor the right to be loyal Candid, not because you gave me permission, I don't wear a suit. I wear my mother's memory in a cloth. I have no donors. I have a mountain that supports me every step of the way. I don't have a slogan. I have a song. And I sing it. America, Vote for me, not for what I am. Vote for me to come and be what you are. ?? Officially, there is no evidence that John F. Kennedy’s “flower children” (i.e., alleged illegitimate children) were deported from the United States. However, for decades, speculation has circulated in popular culture and the investigative press about the existence of such children, born out of wedlock, who were kept out of the public eye or even marginalized. ??? If we think poetically, it is not just about individuals, but about an entire hidden legacy – the shadows of a political empire that wanted to preserve its impeccable image. In an America obsessed with appearances, a child born “out of the box” could be perceived as a threat to the myth of Camelot.
