Looking for eyes
that are new
and hands,
to paint pictures
more vidid
and true
where the lines
come out right
and the hues
aren’t stale
but more vibrant
not pale,
but serene
as for me,
I'm all black
with some white
sure could do
with some juice
from your blues
since I’m fresh out of stock
due to use and abuse
and I do need your greens
to soften the impact
of shadowy dreams
a new set of yellows
instead of the ones
that go with the hell-glows
and pink,
to counter the greys
that come with the strains
of trying too hard
when I think
some purply torrents
some orangy shots
and the picture is perfect
it seems I could pin it
the only thing missing
is a piece of you
in it
