Too Deep a Love

My heart, unbridled, dives where depths conceal,
No shore can hold the weight of what I give.
Each word she speaks, I feel, I breathe, I kneel—
For in her glance I learn what it means to live.

Too deep, perhaps, this tide that pulls my soul,
Where reason drowns beneath her fleeting sigh.
I’d calm the stars to keep her heart made whole,
Yet ache when silence hums her soft goodbye.

For love like mine burns past the mortal art—
It scars, it sings, it blooms through joy and ache.
To love so much is both gift and heartbreak’s part,
A vow the gentlest hearts still dare to make.

So let me love too deep, though I may weep—
For shallow hearts know not the dreams I keep.
