If you suffer from a fundamentally egoistic delusion about your own superiority in intelligence or morality, which means that once you lower yourself to the lower ones, you show your goodness which trumps all intelligence and beauty; then it is not just a little self-deprecation and stupidity; It is your deceived life that is being exploited and killed by the foes.
