A number of poets from poetbay have been saddened, nay, Angered by the way poetbay and their loyal support was squandered and so disrespectfully set aside after they had recently paid subscriptions.

In many cases this was from funds they could ill afford to lose. Much more important to them however is the albeit unintentional loss off their texts.

Foolishly in many cases believing that poetbay would give us warning of impending closure a grewat many poets wrote directly into the poetbay text boxes, intending to save into word files at a later date.

Unfortunately events overtook us and many did not get the chance to do this

I am requesting therefore in open forum that poetbay be opened up for a few more days for the retrieval of very sentimental valued texts

It is the least thing that administrators could do .
