I tell myself it matters
but really, when you think about it
nothing really matters

life\'s just time wasted
a human is just a glorified animal
and the earth is just an unstable rock/water-combo

in the end
when you get down to it
search for the essence
and see how much of a patchwork everything is

solid?
nothing\'s solid...
it\'s just more or less in disrepair

look at your fingers
look at your hands
and look at your wrists

it\'s just flesh, bone, nerves and bloodlines
all covered i skin
and possibly dirt

yea... that makes humans special...
... opposable thumbs

seriously... I\'d rather have wings...
