The Salamander's Path
The tiny salamander makes his way across the grass
in and out he meanders his path
amid a jungle of straws, an unchartered land
there are dangers abound, no safety at hand.
The tiny salamander he scuttles and runs
follows routes that can never by humans be found.
In the blink of an eye he is there no more
perhaps he was never even there before?
