The love I loathe
You call me on the phone
late at night
and like a coward I listen as you cry
Been so long since I heard your voice
You always leave
just to fill a void
How I wish you could see the pain
that you cause when you walk away
But I sigh
and wear my loving smile
thinking it wont happen another time
I realise
you never seem to cry for me
All these virtues I possess
you refuse to see
I take you in, comfort you and try my best
You lay your selfish head on my chest
Can´t you hear my heart
begging you to leave
So I can bury you and begin to heal
It seems you´re turning my worst fears true
That I shall never have another love
but you
