Morning’s Dance

The sky unraveled—red and gold, A whispered tale the sunrise told. Disco lights kissed rooftops bright, Then faded soft in cloudy white.

I reach for mist with open hands, To lay it down on drying lands. Arabica hums in porcelain deep, News awakens, dreams still sleep.

May joy find you, health embrace, In weekend’s gentle, smiling grace. And if Japan holds a geisha fair, May she dance with winds that share.
