I got this woman she keeps speaking of rain
But in a lovely, pleasant way
Anyway, those that think the title has something to do with dylan's song
you're right, but beyond the title itself you'd be wrong

I got this rainy day woman she helped me write this song
don't simon and garfunkel sing about rain though their catalog not all that long
strain to rhyme paul simon, sings
and don't i steal that line all the time
when i get in a what seems a pinch
...don't i steal that line all the time

Seems a must for musicians to sing about rain
Most common word with pain
Page goldenboy takes it to a lower level
Suicide appears in some texts not to dishevel

Oh boy Oh girl as it's sounds like dylan's a hard rain's a-gonna fall
I no longer look for a building that tall
Applause from the nobel prize committee
Peace and literature just like dylan except i'm not in a city

bob dylan started out in new your city
and wouldn't you him pity
he looks shitty
some discard it as drug music
but the cash he made from blowin' in the wind anyone could use it
just as well you can refuse it
you can't have your cake and eat it too is the common expression
'cept on lay lady lay he changes that
and it's a philosophical question at that
anyhow, back to blowin' in the wind, rumor has it a student at princeton wrote it
i think, and want to think, it's bullshit
i will google it; yes, sometimes i wrote google when i google, in my poetry
oh ok, it was bullshit all the way
''yeah it was a princeton student' that was the rumor, to get the story straight here, a high school student
had used some coy
only to be debunked
and paul simon sings no need to be coy roy
but no one is getting used as a toy
as i got perhaps no one's undivided attention
i will splash in, garfunkel sings ''i hear the drizzle of the rain''
and do it all over again
rainy day
I got this woman she keeps speaking of rain
