And I cried because of you on the
       subway today

              I think I saw you in that ice cream parlor
far up there among the clouds
                     whilst we pulled into the station



The street lights hit me in the face
              as I ran backwards catching
my dream somewhere just beneath
                  the stars of left over opportunities


And I made my way over those crossings
         with all the green lights goin' onto red

            The sun burnt my thoughts as the
 sky came crumbling down
