PINK AND PURPLE ERA

pink perfume clouds

and purple skies

the red light district

raincoat guys

the blondie badge

the chrissie sleeves

we couldn´t ask no

mr jeeves

 

those heaps of

cryptic poetry

my moonage dreams

my fantasy

a strange land opened

up its gate

i´m so ashamed

i slipped in late

 

the pink and purple

brainwave days

all captured in a

neon haze

electric blue

eccentric too

and feeling happy

with the crew

a dash of Jimi - you use the words purple and haze in the text - interesting that you just wrote me that you dislike him, a dash of the Pretenders, sort of a tribute lyric, the best line is the one where you use the word cryptic, that's worth the price of admission. I think the text would be improved if you didn't use the style of bold face letters. All in all a good effort
