Miss Havisham and me;)

Miss Havisham

Play it over and over again, Sam
I'm your little miss Havisham
I bought a new weddingdress
Cried it to an awful mess

The white dress is yellow now
left in the attic, that's how
I'm sitting on the window sill
With hours and hours to kill

Please come and drag me out of here
From white trim and a maze of lace
I do not plan to go anywhere
Confined to my mirror an ageing face
that once loved, that once did care
there's nothing left for me here

Blow a wind through my attic room
have me run down the stairs
tear apart my worn-out lace
kiss me stupid on the face
take me places, punch me drunk
or just help me pack my trunk

I wont be miss Havisham anymore
wedding dress in pieces on the floor
Let's drive your automobile all night
and all day in the summer light
