in Uluru- Kata- Tjuta Nationalpark, in the land of Aboriginal people- in Anangu land

Uluru

Uluru-a sacred place in Anangu land,

the land created by ancestors,

who traveled and left marks

in the land,

and made laws to keep and

live by, made people to custodians;

by the foundation of Tjukurpa-

the fundament of practice in

living in harmony with all existing

now, earlier and then;

Uluru glows red for eyes at dawn

and sunset;

is home to a plethore of springs

waterholes, rock caves, ancient

paintings;

surrounded by desert with dots
of desertoaks, kurkuras;

dunes and swales covered by
spinifix grass;

with punu, puti, tjulpun, ukiri-
with trees, shrubs, flowers
and grasses
