Somewhere inside of me I knew
that the end would come,
but I made the choice to stay with you
until the heavens would vanish

Now the stars are falling,
one by one and the evening blackens
in front of my eyes

Now I creep in the darkness,
burning my hands on the
stuff that loneliness is made of

The scars will never fade,
but they are a token of what I
learnt about love yet again
and because of that my heart will never
