The weakness of your eyes

.

You should have seen me,
when I was there to see you.

But all you could see were curtains made of velvet,
heavy and coarse
and impossible to penetrate with the weakness of your eyes.

And suddenly,
your heavy eyeballs fell out of place
cause they suffered from no use,
and they bounced around like tennis balls
right there on your kitchen floor.

And when you finally saw me,
I was being upside down to you.
And there was nothing in this world I could do
that would make everything turn right.

.
