I like to
hide myself
write myself
out of the picture
create a fissure
between me
and the rest
kinda like
a test
how separate
can you feel
before you kneel
before the real
and beg for
wholeness
any closeness
you can steal
from mortals
and would it be,
that you're the gateway
you're the portal
you're the landscape
where I paint
myself back in
the picture
mend the tissue
weld the fissure
would that be,
you shouldn't
take it
personally.
