that lack total illumination
and yield

While equestrians
unsaddle
and groom their mounts
carefully,
down the road
in a barn stall with fresh
baled hay stacked in the
left hand corner
and pitchforks clang as they
are roused
from their sleep
Under bare naked
light bulbs
