As we saw it from afar, the sunset threw us away from this world of fools.

We ran toward the horizon, endlessly trying to lose ourselves in our loss of control, as we had never dared before.

Blazing through our souls, the light kept leaving traces upon our skin as we felt the world disappear around us.

This was it, we were finally there. We were finally ready to embrace the way reality dispersed. We were finally able to grab hold of each other’s selves.

We flew away.
