The shadow is my Kingdom
The meadow is my Queen
A summer's soft embrace
A body dressed in green

She is my soul desire
She is my secret dream
A grail with living water
An ancient sacred stream

I feel the flower's fragrance
I gently touch the leaves
A nature full of wonder
A loving breast that heaves

But summer days will cease
The flowers wither soon
No tree will cast a shadow
In the faint light of the moon
