etymology, and a look, at the word "lunatic"
I regarded dear google (sarcastic) and other sites for this, as well as personal experience... the intellectual will read books, the artist will live life... etymology: it is a Roman goddess!!! luna. Mythology is so much more interesting than religion or (there is no truth in) science. It is a popular woman's name, what country I didn't decipher. Also comes from latin (dead language, that means people don't speak it) lunaticus. I am from Latvia and my last name is Dejus. In older psychiatric times lunatics were associated with having a nervous tic. OWN REALIZATION: having a tic is derived from lunatic. We say "you go on my nerves" older psychiatric times nerves were associated with mental unwell. Then there is the Feared nervous breakdown. I have had two, real, nervous breakdowns. Lunar means the Moon. Lunar eclipse (when there is a shadow of the earth on the moon) occurs 0 - 3 times per year. Pink floyd sing about it "the lunatic is on the grass" off cd "dark side of the moon". Older psychiatric times and ancient times, believed people's moods were steered by the moon and ocean. In modern language it is, temperamental, and erratic behavior. Can you imagine all the males under 40 years old, machines, programming google in ten years, I think it is dead before then, and methylphenidate a vitamin. This is written from the loony bin, where you will find the Real personalities, and will publish this also on my alternate writing site substack .com as my third piece.
