I can understand why people in the mainstream don't want to acknowledge that what they are force-fed to consume is rigged by "bad actors". Usually people prefer to deny these manipulations existing in order to protect the fact that they have been duped and their worldview is a lie.

The control over the generations with junk-culture from its inception to right now. Think of Beatles, Nirvana, Eminem, Sex Pistols, etc. All sold in by the controlled press to control and create negative behaviours. The list could be hundreds of other silly products/artists. But these are very easy to see.
