a new decade and year
so many more things to fear
the last 10 years were trying
but did not achieve

now I’m sitting in my chair
for the future I prepare
I’m blindfolded but aware
There are changes that are to come

But this decade won’t be anything
like the seventies no
There is no room for revolt or show
The changes will probably be
Within the information technology
The Iphone, oh it’s just the start

The leaders they know
how people should be taken
There won’t be no change for the politics
The good men and true are all forsaken

All quiet on the religion front
It changed some years ago
We do no longer need an almighty god
The climate chatter is what we believe in

Back away we turn our faces from all the old
and we face the new reiligion
it’s yes or no
no other choice
